Thats really sad news, she must be feeling terrible and is bound to be wondering what if. Like you I could never bring myself to take such risks. I had a miscarriage last year and I am paranoid about doing just ordinary stuff this time. I think that comes after a loss. You can only be there for them.

So sad for your SIL hon. Nowadays, the general view is 'carry on as normal' when you get pregnant. But in a coupla fertility expert books I've read, they strongly advocate an old-fashioned approach - take it REALLLLLLLL easy in those first few weeks. So when I get my BFP, I'm gonna lie on my sofa and order my hubby to get me everything. I've already warned him! Though am flying out on holybops in 10 days so if I get my BFP, will be flying so will be a bit anxious.

But tbh, your SIL's m/c probably wasn't anything to do with flights etc. Such is life.

Better to be safe than sorry tho.

Sorry again hon. x

Oh, Tish, so so sorry to hear about your SIL!!

As i said in your original thread, i wouldnt risk it, but then again these things happen without reason sometimes, to the most careful of people, so i can only hope she doesnt blame her self too much and gets back on track soon. You really are a wonderful SIL, honey!!

I suspect OH is gonns be watching over me like a hawk next time saying things like 'you're not gonna do that are you?' or 'you're not gonna eat that are you?'

Its a terrible thing to happen to anyone, its a small consolation that it happens to so many women and most go on to have children after that. I hope this is the case for your SIL.

Mucho , Love!

Omi xxx
