I'm Currently Feeling: | How many children do you want? 3 Ideally a boy first, but heck, anything right now Any names yet?Yup but I'm not telling What will your work situation be? I'll take 2 months maternity leave, then go back to part time - maybe 3 days a week At home mum or nursery? I'd love nothing more than to be a stay at home mum, but with car and house payments who can afford to these days? If you're planning more than one, when do you reckon you'll go for round 2 of TTCing (god forbid!)?Shortly there after! Not waiting this long again, probably when little one is around 6 months old. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | How many children do you want? 2 (twins) if not 3 Any names yet? Joslyn Samantha & JC Johan Cristian*named after his late brother CJ* What will your work situation be? I will take maternity leave for 5months and go back to work, in our country you can't survive on only one salary At home mum or nursery? I will be with baba for 5months and then off to the nursery, makes them not so attached to my hip and gives them some independance and friends. If you're planning more than one, when do you reckon you'll go for round 2 of TTCing (god forbid!)? I am hoping for twins as then im done but if one by one comes we will space them 2years apart atleast get the one off the nappies.
This was a nice thread |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Cool thread Trixie! How many children do you want? I've always said 4... I think hubby only wants 2... we'll see... Any names yet? Ryan; stuck for girls names, how weird! What will your work situation be? I'll take maternity leave for 6 months (4 mat leave, 1 holiday and 1 unpaid holiday) and then back to work P/T, probably 60% At home mum or nursery? See above... both! And the mother in law, since my mum is stil in Canada... If you're planning more than one, when do you reckon you'll go for round 2 of TTCing (god forbid!)? Good Lord, what a thought! But given how long its taking, probably when baby is 9-12months...
oh, and I WAS in some weird way sure I would get pg this month... Doesn't seem its meant to be, so hopefully between July and September (that'll be a year of trying..!)

I'm Currently Feeling: | We've been trying since Oct 2004 so the likelihood of it happening naturally for us is very slim. Should start first attempt at IVF at the end of this year and hopefully one will be all it takes... How many children do you want? 2 or 3 - would ideally like a set of twins. Any names yet? Too many to mention. Quite like jasmine or olivia for a girl, and harry or austin for a boy. Lots more names have been mentioned too. What will your work situation be? I'll take 6 months maternity leave and then go back to work. Not sure if I'll work full time or part time - my job is such that i could work 3 long days and still get pretty much a full time salary. At home mum or nursery? Hoping to convince the mother in law to semi-retire so she can look after bubba - although if i do have twins i'd probably work part time and put them in nursery when i'm working. If you're planning more than one, when do you reckon you'll go for round 2 of TTCing (god forbid!)? Depends how long it takes for the first one(s) to arrive. Given the length of time we've been trying we should probably start ttc#2/3 straight away.

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm hoping ASAP, but planning by December to coincide Maternity with DS starting school...(helps with the school run!!! )
How many children do you want? As many as possible before I run out of time - probably 3! Already have son James who's almost 4.
Any names yet? Aoife (pronounced Eefa) for girl and Conor for boy. (They'll both have 2 middle names yet to be determined...lol)
What will your work situation be? I'll take maternity leave for 9 months
At home mum or nursery? Home, then nursery for 2 days, with their Grandad for 2 days...I'll be back full time working compressed hours (5 days crammed into 4)
If you're planning more than one, when do you reckon you'll go for round 2 of TTCing (god forbid!)? ASAP, I'm 37 now, would be at least 38 with next one, so want all 3 before I am 40. |

I'll take maternity leave for a year. I get full pay on 4 and half months of that, statutory for the rest of that. It'll be beans on toast for us! At home mum or nursery? After a year, nursey, I think. Will have no choice tho have toyed with idea of OH leaving work to be a stay at home dad if we can save some inheritance we're due. If you're planning more than one, when do you reckon you'll go for round 2 of TTCing (god forbid!)? Might wait till first one is in pre-school so I don't have to worry about nursery costs. So 4-5 years. x | ohhhhhh how fun!
I thought I'd be pg already!
I want 4 or as many as I can
Haven't got any names yet, but something unusual
I will take as much maternity as I can then hopefully try again as soon as I feel my body is ready (hopefully within 6 months of having my first)
Stay at home mum if we can manage it

I'm Currently Feeling: | Oooh interesting thread! Today i feel like i will never fall pg! Tomorrow i will prob say this cycle.... can never make my mind up but its been 10 months now and nada, so who knows?! How many children do you want? I'll let you know the answer to that one once i've been through childbirth at least once!!! Any names yet? No! "Fecking baby" seems to crop up quite a lot though :-) What will your work situation be? I'll take maternity leave for a year i think. At home mum or nursery? I'm 99% certain i'll go back to work full time and the baby will go to childcare / grandparents / OH part time? Not sure yet, but i'm the (alleged) career driven ambitious one in our house!! If you're planning more than one, when do you reckon you'll go for round 2 of TTCing (god forbid!)? See above... i highly suspect one round of childbirth might put me off for life, let alone going through all this TTC nonsense again!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I think like alot of you, I thought I'd have been pg by now so as soon as possible really. having said that, if we could get our financial bits sorted out first then we could probably enjoy the whole thing more but I can't face the idea of waiting!
How many children do you want? Hopefully 2. I'd like 2 girls, DH would like a boy and a girl
Any names yet? We'd like Aisling for a girl and we're not sure for boys yet
What will your work situation be? I'll take maternity leave for as long as possibe but we'll have to see how things go financially
At home mum or nursery? In some ways I'd love to be an at home mum but couldn't do it financially. After the first, I'd probably be back full time purely to pay the bills. After the second, hopefully DH will be bringing in more and I'll have the freedom to start my own business which is what I have always want to do anyway. Miel, I'll have to pick your brains at some point, I want to open a shop!
If you're planning more than one, when do you reckon you'll go for round 2 of TTCing (god forbid!)? I think probably when the baby is 9-12 months old. There's 21 months between my sister and me and we're really close so I'd like that for my kids.
Great thread and here's hoping we all get s this month! |
