I sometimes find myself looking at DH and feeling a sudden urge to make him a father....i think he would make a FANTASTIC father considering his was a right sh*t and want to give him a child so desperatly.

Yep i look at my hubby and think what a perfect dad he would make. I know how much he wants to be a father and it makes me sad that it's not happened yet. Sometimes (when i'm totally irrational) i feel like i'm letting him down.

Then i have chocolate and i think it's probably his fault anyway

i think sometimes i want DH to be a father more than he does lol but his not someone who looks forward to things but loves it when it happens IFSWIM

I'm desperate to make my DH a daddy again. Last time we were ttc I didn't have such an urge as we already had two babies so was just completing our family in our own time. Sine we lost Beau however I just feel I've let him down. To get so far into a pregnancy and then have to tell him over the phone that his son had died was so hard on both of us.

That stork had better hurry up with our bean and it had better have extra sticky glue on it

He is a step-dad to my children, but I would feel awful if he never got the chance to experience the joy of having a baby in the house. I see how he is with my minded children and jsut know he would be a fabby daddy.
We watch TV progs like House of Tiny Tearaways, and we have the same outlook and opinions on bringing up children, so we'll make a good team.

And also for me, I want to experience the joy of a planned pregnancy - a birth with someone who adores me present, not someone who beats me up and is totally unsupportive ( plus I was on my own for 2nd labour/birth ) and to parent with someone else instead of being a single parent, struggling.

Me too!!! Soooo want to make my DH a dad he would be such a great daddy. The other day I saw a man teaching his son to ride a bike and it nearly had me , I really want to be able to experience things like that.
