yes, mine were very dark and pink when I returned to them later in the day. I was using a cheaper store brand - but still were still quite sensitive ones. It's was just odd that when I tested a few days later I got a definite BFP. I can only guess that for me nothing had properly 'implanted' at the time of those earlier tests??? So perhaps hormones weren't strong enough?
I guess since you don't know when you AF is due, keep testing every few days - if your purse can stand it!!!
