The main thing that stresses me (or rather makes me angry) is when people tell me not to stress and to relax!!!

hey guys now when i was ttc i thought this.....and i had my fair share of dont worry it will happen as soon as u relax and stop stressin it wil happen which in turn made me wana punch their block off....now the month i got my bfp was the stressyest ttc month for me so ignore them!! yer it probably pays a part in it. but it seriously all about timing i charted on the month i got preg and bedded on the exact right days and got my bfp!!

i seriously recomend charting to all u girls so u can pin point ovulation exact....i was 5days out and ovd on cd20 of a 28 day cycle so i jus assumed by cd 18 i was in the 2ww

good luck girls x x x x

I think that stress is counterproductive. but not the be all and end all. Its no coincidnece that when couples who have been trying for as very long time, give in and give up, it happens. My sister was called totally infertile by the docs, she ad ivf then had her first daughter and quickly conceieved her second accidentally against the odds. x

I'm 50/50. Like others, it pees me off something proper when I'm told to 'just relax'. And I know gals who've fallen PG at the most stressful times.

However, I also know a few girls who did fall PG at a time when they decided to relax. Eg. one girl who decided to give up trying and that month, fell PG. Another who tried for a year, nothing, had a break for a few months then fell PG the first month they started trying again.

Thing is, if it is stress-related, that puts the fear of god into us TTcers who've been trying for a while cos all we do is stress about it. So we don't wanna even consider if it's all stress-related.

But it can't harm to try to chill, take up meditation, focus your mind elsewhere. I feel more relaxed this month (though anxiety starting to creep up on me now that I'm in the 2ww (or 10 day week, in my case) so if I fall PG this cycle, that's proof for ya that relaxing helps! x

Who knows? Everyone's different and stress affects us all differently. If i wasn't stressed about TTC, it would be about something else. Maybe i need to shift my stress elsewhere -just got a new job so can't worry about work, could worry about my muffin top and credit card bill.
