I'm not sure if it is or not really. I would have thought it would be ok but hopefully someone can help you more than I can (I'm useless )

There was an article in the paper recently saying that mum's who give are due to give birth in winter should go to a warm climate for a week or two in the third tri (not ideal for us brits as that entails flying!!) but apparantly sun is good for the baba, and a pregnant lady keeps her colour longer as my pregnant neighbour can testify - she went to Portugal a few weeks ago and when I passed remarks on how well her tan was lasting that was what she told me. Hormone benefits!

So go on, enjoy the sunshine, just don't get sun burned!!!

Oh thank you so much , I laid in the sun when I was pregnant for my oldest daughter , that was years ago but I was also 7 months pregnant so I wasnt worried about it , I just didnt know if it was ok during early pregnancy . my friends would all tease me about my daughter being so dark skinned , they would always say it was because I was always in the sun . well Im going to go get ready to lay in the sun for a few hrs . Thanks again

I reckon it should be fine, but I'd drink lots of extra water just to be on the safe side!

Enjoy the sun, and please send some of it my way!!!
