I'm Currently Feeling:  | Hey magicvw...I took a look at fertility friend and got confused as hell. when I am done temping this month I will post the results and you guys could give me some feedback or help me work through FF to enter my temps.I don't really know what to look for...I know there is a significant change in temperature but I have done it consistently and have temps all over the place.???? |

All you need to know to get started is the first day of your last period, and then tell FF you had menstrual bleeding that day. Then you just type in the temps day by day. If you miss some it draws a dotted line so you still get a nice graph! I'm more than happy to help you out with getting a chart up and running - just give me a shout (I'm nearly always online!) If you click on my chart ticker (with the buggy) you can have a look at my charts if you want. Might give you an idea. FF puts the red cross on when it has detected ovulation.  |

Picture this....7 am,dark,quiet,sleeping ever so nice and BEEP BEEP BEEP. Try and turn the alarm off before it wakes DH,fumble for thermo, drop thermo,lean over the edge of the bed as not to move too much so you get a good reading, swipe your hand all over the floor, realise you need to sweep, find thermo. Get thermo out of case, press button and wait for it to re-set, press again because it is too slow, ahh, finally, put thermo in mouth, pinch lips and wait, lips go numb because you are holding on for dear life. Waiting, waiting, waiting......BEEP BEEP BEEP, shhh stupid beep, don't want to wake DH. Fumble to read it and jot it down in a notebook (all in the dark), put it in it's case and roll over to get comfy for the 52 minutes and counting you have before DH's alarm goes off........lay awake thinking of how to clean thermo? Not so much!!! |

Haha! They should sell thermometers which,instead of beeping, say in a woman's voice "could you put the hoover round for me honey?". My DH moans about the beeping thermo but he never seems to hear those particular words, so they wouldn't wake him up..... |
