I take mine at 6:20 everyday..even on the weekend. I take it orally under the tongue. It is kind of confusing to try and find which spike ovulation occured at ( have had a few spikes).I guess that next month will give me a better idea as this is my first month temping.

under my tounge and I check my temps between 8:40 and 9 am thats around the time I wake up , I sleep with my thermometer , lol

Hey Dee - do you use anything like Fertility Friend to record your temps? They will work out which temps signify Ovulation for you - you don't need to try and interpret them yourself (much too hard!)


I also temp orally. I have read that vaginal temps are more accurate because sleeping with your mouth open can alter oral temps, but i just don't want to stick that sharp pointy thing in there Whatever you do, don't use the underarm temps - they are useless - only good for telling if you have a fever or not. Where I live the girls seem to favour rectal. Goodness knows why, but whatever floats your boat I guess!

well I was just thinking I just quickly wipe mine on the duvet lmao, prob not the most hygieneic way! Does anyone use wipes or something? afterall it's going in our mouths every day and probably got germies!

No! I reckon the germs I had in my mouth this morning are pretty much going to be the same as the ones I've got tomorrow! So I don't even wipe it actually. Never occurred to me. Am I disgusting?
