Decidual bleeding - Need some advice!

Hi all,

I'm brand new to this forum, although must admit have spent most of the last few days reading some of the threads. I'd really like some advice if any of you may have had a similar experience to me.

I'm 27 years old, OH is 26 and we've just recently started to TTC. In April we found out that we were pregnant, on our first attempt (I know how lucky that is!) but I miscarried at 6weeks. The weird thing was this: I'm was on 35 day cycles and on CD28 I got what I thought was my period. Bled heavy for one day very light for the next and then just tiny spotting. I called a nurse who said, I may still be pregnant as that doesn't sound like my normal period so should test on CD 35. I did as I was told and got a BFP on CD35. OH and I were so pleased, but concerned about the spotting. Was told that it could be implantation but it may be something more. One week later I had a miscarriage. (So that's the history)

We let a month go by and my first cycle was 28 days, we were then in Paris (need I say more) the following month around CD14-18 and surprise surprise I started with ALL the same symptoms I had when I fell the first time. Extremely sore breasts, bloated, dull cramps in abdomen, tiredness, gas etc. So thought well I'd test on CD28 to see if I was lucky enough to be pregnant so soon only today on CD26 I started bleeding heavily again. I'm yet to find out if it's only going to last 2 days like the last time, but I've been reading up about this sort of thing and the term decidual bleeding keeps coming up.

Does anyone know anything about decidual bleeding or has anyone has anything similar? I know that some people take years to fall pregnant, so I appreciate that I'm really lucky in some respects, I'm just frustrated that I don't know what's havppening to my body.

Thank you for you time.. I wish you all the very best of luck conceiving!

Catherine

Thank you Newt,

Above all I guess I'm here to talk about these things with people going through similar stuff. It's difficult for me as we decided it's best not to say anything to our family until we were ready (or pregnant with healthy baby)... which means there's only so much my dear OH is willing to hear me talk about and the few friends that are in the know would surely like some 'normal' conversation soon!!

Congrats on the birth of your little one!! xx

Catherine,
Welcome. Sorry I have no advice to give on the subject. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. There are tons of great gals on here that are so helpful and like you, DH only wants to hear so much about all this stuff so it is like having 100 girlfriends to sound off to. Hope your stay in TTC is a short one, best of luck-
Ro
