Help please - temperature dip

Hi girls, I could really use a sanity check please. I really don't want to get my hopes up and I'm looking for a voice of reason.

I started temping this month. Temps went up and FF filled in CD 13 as ovulation. Today is 9dpo and I have a dip in temperature. What is an 'implantation dip', does this sound like it it, and should I get excited? A few months ago I had a 21 day cycle, so I suppose it could mean AF is on her way. Do I need to wait until tomorrow and see if they go up again?

As this is my first month temping I guess it might always dip and I've never know before. A search on FF states "The data suggests that this pattern is indeed more likely to result in a pregnancy."

Would someone please tell me to calm down and that it might not mean anything at all. This is doing my head in. I am symptom spotting like you wouldn't believe! I'm all over the place and don't know whether to laugh or cry!

I keep meaning to work out how to link to my FF chart but haven't found the time to look into it. Now my head is all over the place and I can't begin to work it out! If anyone can give me really easy, one-syllable instructions as to how to include it that would be great (sorry for being a dimmy! ). I'm sure this would all make more sense to you if you could see my chart...

Thank you. x

A dip at 9dpo could be implantation but it could also be a normal dip, since its your first month charting its difficult to tell if its normal for you or not.

Good luck

I agree, plus as you say you sometimes have had a short cycle, it could be the dip before shows her fugly face

Thank you for your responses. Ever since I posted this morning I've been feeling a silly moo for posting . I blame my hormones!

I shall wait and see what next week brings and stop getting in such spin.

I will try adding my chart to my signature - that will give me something different to think about!

and babydust to all!
