Seriously, if one more person tells me that, "you'll get pregnant in God's time", I am going to scream.

I love my mother but she keeps saying this to me. "God must have a reason," etc. I mean, yes, I agree with her but every time a new med fails, I do not need to hear that, you know?

Am I being horribly rude about it?

We know it but we don't want to hear it. They mean well but a lot of the time they don't know what to say so instead of saying I'm sorry and leaving it at that they feel like they ahve to give us hope or some reason for why it isn't working.

Don't feel bad, your going through a lot and your entitled to be a little pissy if you want.

Thank you! I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't being heartless. LOL I know she is trying to help but sometimes just a "sorry" or "that sucks" is what I need to hear. LOL Hearing "god's will" just makes me a little irked at God.

I think we all feel like you, it's not easy TTC so we don't need anybody to tell us "you'll get pregnant in God's time" the last person who told me that, I said "so go call God and ask him to hurry up, it took him 7 days to make the universe, I don't see why it should take 6 month or even years to for me get pregnant".
Of course I was mad at that person, not to God, because she doesn't know how I feel, it's been 6 months already and I'm not pregnant (I know 6 months is not a lot of time), but I hate when they said that, if they knew how bad we all feel every month when AF comes or we get a BFN, they wouldn't be saying all that.

No, you're not. Clearly telling herself that "God's will" is the reason it's taking you a bit of time to conceive is something that makes HER feel better. What she should be more sensitive is thinking of what might make you either:
a) feel cared for & understood, or at the very least
b) not make you feel worse.

Am still hoping you get your twins. Am sorry you're having to go through such crap to get there.

Faith - Good call. God did make the earth in 7 days. We've been trying this crap for 9 years! I think God forgot we were here and then when we moved to Alaska, he lost our address.

Insomnimama - Thanks! I hope we get our twins too. I love that DH wants twins as badly as me but hey... I am not complaining. One healthy baby will be great for us! ^_^ Thanks for the support!

lol no offence to the real god believers....but personally i think it its all about timing...look at it like this it took me 10months and the month i got preg i jus so happend to chart and get it on perfect timing lol where as the months before i didnt....therfor i got myself pregnant lol and it was down to me i didnt previous months as i had my timing all out each month we heave 12/24 hours to catch the eggy
i mean fair enuff if people have fertility problems but if its jus the case of nothings wrong and its not happening i think id have to cop hearing god will make it happen wen it happens lol id be like grrrrrr....tell me summit constructive lol .... xxx

That day my DH was with me and he couldn't stop laughing about it, and even today if I say that to anybody who puts God in this mess that is TTC, I get really mad, specially when those are mothers who didn't have any problem TTC their kids or even were "surprise babies" (like I start calling them when one of friends got pregnant of 5th surprise baby)
