| Why do others get pregnant - and I don't? Every month at the moment, someone tells me they're pregnant. Just now I discovered a work colleague is pregnant by 'accident' (she was on the pill) and she's 'gutted'.
Can someone just explain to me why all these people who don't even try, fall PG and yet I - who wants this so much; who tries so hard; who has everything in place (perfect husband, house, job etc) - just can't-get-pregnant?
If someone's got a cold, I get it. When the sun's shining, I feel its beams on my face like everyone else does. When I'm hungry, my tummy rumbles like there's does. I am a human being like all these other girls are; hell, I'm an ideal specimen compared with some of them with a perfect BMI. I do everything right and am perfectly fertile (as my hubby is too), according to drs tests - so can someone please explain why they get pregnant ... and I just can't?!
Can someone just give me the hard cold facts of why I can't get pregnant and they can please?
Thanks in advance. x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm in totally the same boat as you two. It's so frustrating. My boyfs sister had a baby last year totally unplanned (still single and living with parents at the time) and there's us getting everything in place, waiting til we could afford it, and now it's just not happening.
I don't have the facts you need, but I'll join you in your request to get them! |

| Well, it sounds like there's some sort of epidemic going around. An 'I can't get pregnant despite everything being in place' bug. I think the government needs to look into this urgently as it tends to affect really nice and fab girls in particular.
Can anyone help us? x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Ah chook.
Now i'm not really religious but i reckon that there is a plan out there for everyone.
I reckon if there is a god then he is saving up the nicest most gorgeous lovely bubba for you. He wants to get it right though, so he's not gonna dump a a crying baby on you or one that tears your nipples off it's so hungry. Oooooh nooooooooooo..... he's waiting for the right time to give you the PERFECT one! You will have the perfect pregnancy, look glam and maintain a perfect figure. When you give birth it will be as quick as a sneeze with the same amount of pain. And you will be back in your pre-birth designer jeans juggling everything life can throw at you in no time.... without even a hint of baby up chuck on your back...... see. Told you he's got a plan
I hope you are still TTC though and remember the question re my friend and the wedding abroad. Baby was a total breeze apparently! So you will be fine when you get your BFP cos it's gonna happen really soon - i can feel it in my water (and no that feeling is NOT cystitis!) |

Can anyone help us? x | Maybe they need to appoint a new cabinet minister who deals solely with this issue to ensure it's dealt with quickly and efficiently. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | My DH asked me a few nights ago if i thought we were definitely "doing it" right !!!!!
I suspect it was a devious excuse to watch a porno to double check, but sometimes you do wonder....!!!!! |

I 100% agree. Gordon Brown clearly needs some help right now, he's down in the popularity polls. By appointing a Minister for Fertility, I can guarantee he'd attract an extra 100 thousand votes, give or take.
The new minister's portfolio can cover free wine for TTCers in the week after AF arrives (we would need to bring a drs certificate to any local off licence to be enittled to 10 free bottles); free membership of local gymnastics club to practice immaculate post-BD handstands; free supply of vitamins during TTCing time; free relationship counselling; and all guns would be made legal for TTcers so we can shoot anyone who tells us to 'just relax and it'll happen'.
Any other ideas for this new minister? I will then put together a white paper to recommend the creation of this new role (I know a few people in the Labour press office, sure they won't mind having a look). x |
