I know that quite a few girls are going for every other day this month cause some think it increases sperm count to do this. I'm not sure but I wish I had the luxury of cutting down cause we were doing it too often!!

I don't think it decreases sperm count in terms of quality, only of quantity. You get smaller ejaculations if they are more frequent, but I think the body speeds up production too, so you would get more spermies by doing it every day than every other. Trouble is, it just wears you out!!! I do wonder though if age is a factor. I've been with my bloke since he was 19 (now 34) so I have had the chance to observe *performance* over a long time and i can say that it now does take him a couple of days to build up to what he could have done 3 times a day when younger (in terms of how big the wet patch is I mean )

Hey guys! This month was my first month on Clomid 50mg but it didn't work and I will not O this month. Is it too early to join for next month? I will be on 100mg Clomid.

Hey Gals-
I am Ro, been TTC for 13 months. I am temping this month, yeah me! I have got my pre-seed all ready to go for BDing, am taking my vitamins, drink enough water to turn into a damn puddle and am usuing the CBFM.
I am expecting O around CD15/16. Monitor is still reading low right now so we will see. I also am drinking grapefruit juice, I did it last month and saw a little difference so we will see this month.
I am also going to try and BD everyday from the first high day on the CBFM till the day after my peaks. The one new thing will be doing it bow-wow style every other day to assist the little guys into my tilted cervix. That and sticking my big rump in the air for 30 min's afterward, what a sight that should be!!

To be honest we're trying the relaxed approach. I haven't even started using OPKs yet.
I just figured the years stressing over it didn't work - time for a new approach.

Should be ovulating in a few days though.
Should being the word - didn't O last month
Increased to 100mgs of Clomid this month

well, as this is our 11th cycle, today i have been looking back over my little diary of TTC - which i have been keeping for about the past 7 months or so, and we had sex every day all through my fertile period in all the others months we have tried..... so we are going for the every other day approach to see if it helps....

I figuired that, when OH went for his Semen Analysis test recently, they only wanted a sample if he hadnt had sex for the past 3 days - is this because his sperm count would be at its highest if he hasn't ejaculated for 3 days??? so - does having sex every day decrease the count???

i dont know - but we are gonna give it a try

thats what i'm thinking too....this month - every other day, as we normally have it everyday throughout the cycle and that hasnt worked yet... fingers crossed nicola!! I hope this works ....

CD 2 for me and AF is being a real nasty this month -- lots more cramping than usual. Decent AF flow though which is good cause a couple of months ago I was worried about my AF's being too light.

Weird to think that in just one week I will be starting the bd-athon again! Oh the mad rollercoaster ride that is TTC!!

Magic: Thanks for that info hun. Yeah, age is a big factor with men I think. My Oh is 20 years older than yours so you can imagine!! I have to take what I can get pretty much lol!
