found info on HCG levels

http://www.mums.me.uk/docs/BHCG.pdf

Week 3:0 to 5
Week 4: (next period due) 5 to 426 Week

How come you can be 5 when is due and on week 3? Is it just to do when it implants into the uterus eg later than expected then less HCG?

i mean how come the levels can be 5 in both week 3 and 4? Is it depending on when implantation occurs! I myb shouldnt have read this as for the next week i will be thinking my hcg levels are just low instead of giving up

I think that is correct as, it depends when implantation occurs. I have to take a hpt in about 2wks just to make sure the hormone is not in system after my mc last wk.

I used this one too....the number of weeks is from LMP (last menstrual period). So 3 weeks would mean implantation happened very early! At 4 weeks my HCG level was 180 when they tested via blood!!

3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7,650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml
Postmenopausal: <9.5 mIU/ml

Porkpie, remember they are just going to be averages, they have to be broad as women develop at different rates, we have all heard about people not getting that till maybe weeks on
