hiya i had a misscarage about 6weeks ago and had my first period on the 23rd of may, but yesterday i had brown stuff, so i put a tampon in thinking i was goin to bleed again, but only the tip of the tampon was a bit broeny, but that turned into watery discharge that was coloured pinky, but 2 day nothing, i was jus wondering do you think that it was another period or could it be i have got an infection, because i didnt hav a d&c, after my last lot of bloods as it was negative i didnt hear from a doctor so i presume as i lost fleshy type clots they thought i lost every thing, i cnt belive they didnt check me over, so what do you guys think. it would be much appreciated, many thanks zoe. x

I decided to go to the hopistal without an appt and tell them i was still bleeding after a few week. The did an internal scan and seen that everything hadnt been removed so gave me more tablets and then rescanned me in a week. If that didnt work they would have done another scan. Im a bit pushy anyway but sumtimes u have to just go up to the maturnity and ask to see sum1 as i had rang them and got fobbed off

I would do as porkpie has done. I had a confirmed complete mc on Thursday last wk. I went to A&E and they did a blood test, an ultrasound and internal scan and said there was nothing there. I was advised to do a hpt in about 3wks as, I still had some very low level of the hormone in my blood. If it comes back pos I have to phone them as, there might be a microscopic amount left which can't be seen on the scan. It is a horrendous thing to go through but, if you are not scanned how can you be 100% sure all is gone and, that you will be ok? Keep us updated as to how you get on.

Yeah I'd be asking for a scan to confirm that there's no tissue left, it could cause a pretty nasty infection if left

ok then so you think i should jus go down to the hospital and demand to be seen. well the bleeding is really really heavy and i started afetr me posting this on here. i thought i t would die down but it hasnt

yeah ,, id say you should go get checked out just to be on the safe side .

I'd go get checkhun. It could just be your body's way of getting back to normal but best to get checked just incase.
