Question

Benylin - tickly coughs

Anyone spoke to their doctor about taking this??

My throat is drivign me mad... you know when you try to stick your tongue far enough down your throat to scratch it but you just choke on it and dont get anywhere near the tickle!!!!

Hubby got me some of this, but it says blah blah.. consult your doctor if ttc... no tests done basically.

I wondered if anyone had spoken to gp re tickly throat/cough to know whats best to do.

Sorry dont know ins and outs of it....
But at the begining of last year my friend had a rubbish cold and was swigging the stuff from the bottle...a week later she discovered she was pregnant. Her GP said it was fine. Plus her son turned out a healthy little baby!

I was going to say what AG said - it's an ingrediant that starts with a g, and I think it has a y next. not much help am I?!!

But seriously, you should be absolutely fine hun. And if it works, let me know because I've got that sort of cough and it's driving me mad - getting painful now!

Not sure about the benylin, but i have the same scratchy cough and sore throat and i am taking honey and lemon medicine, tastes great and helps.
But on another note i'm sure the benylin will be fine as there is an ingredient in cough medicine that aids concieving, active ingredient Guanfensin (? sp)
So Swig away i say
