Question for CBFM owners

AF arrived on Sunday which was good as she waited till I got back from my camping trip but bad as I'm out for May. Anyway when AF came went straight on the net and order a CBFM from Superdrug. Seemed good price as you got testing sticks free and had 10% discount code all worked out at £86. Got an email today (Monday) to say it had been dispatched so should come in the next few days.

Right to my question...

Is it best to start using the CBFM on day 1 of ur cycle as it gonna be day 4, 5 or even 6 b4 mine arrives. I am also goin away on hols at the end of June (mind u prob after ovulation) and it won't be practical to take it with me. Do you think if it arrives in the post v soon I should start to use it and wait till July and start from cycle day 1?

Can't wait to start using it but I do have some opk's I could use this month (like last) as they seemed to work ok and maybe wait till next month. I am just impatient. Any thoughts welcome.

Thanks

You can start using it upto CD5 so if you get it you can still use it. You won't have to take it away with you if you've had your PEAK you don't realy have to poas anymore.

The first month can be a little hokey for some. Mine was right on the money and I had no issues but I have heard that it can call for up to 20 sticks trying to get to know your body. If your not going to bring it on vaca with you then I would wait til you come back and start in July. Best of luck to you

Good luck if you can wait that long!! I was desperate to use mine and it is certainly feeding my POAS addiction. I would start it asap and why can't you take it away with you? I'm only on CD25 with my first cycle using it and it's been everywhere with me, even to a shabby campsite!!

Mine took 2 months before I got a peak. Month 1 didn't get anything, then month 2 got highs from CD9-25!! poas every day! Anyway, the last 2 months I have had high days followed by a peak.

You might need to poas as many days as that. Don't expect to get peak on 1st month, although it would be great if you did. If you get it before CD5 I would crack on and start using it.

I am off to Canada for my hols and just thought bringing it along might add to my laugage weight esp coming home with all my goodies. I had read abit about the CBFM on the net and it did state somewhere you might need to use up to 20 of the sticks esp in the 1st month to allow the monitor to build up a picture of ur cycle.

Will be looking out the window for the postie each morning now.

It is really quite small. About the size of a single serving size bag of chips. Doesn't weigh anything either. I would bring it along, each test is individually wrapped so you can stash them anywhere in your bags. Good luck

My CBFM came in the post today which was a really speedy delivery. As I am on cycle day 2 (I think as was reading you don't actually count the day ur AF arrived) I am going to start using it now - no point in waiting. Just need to have a read at the booklet and get my hand on some batteries.
