How long after a positive opk....

Do you ovulate?

Only I had a positive one yesterday but DH was ill so we couldn't DTD. I thought we'd missed our window (there were tears and everything ). Only tested again today, and it is still positive. Does that mean I haven't ovulated yet? I'm a bit tender in the stomach area this afternoon, does that mean I could be ovulating as we speak? I'm so confused

yeah general advice is about 12-36 hrs after, although seems the egg may live longer than currently thought though, I heard something about it from another TTCer who hear dit from her consultant... should be general knowledge soon enough when it filters down I should think
So I would maybe bd for an extra day than you otherwise would

Hiya

They say that you ovulated within 24-48 hours of getting a positive on your OPK - but you can still get PG if you had sex prior to ovulation as the little spermies can survivie for at least 72 hours - so if you had some baby dancing the day before you ovulated you could still be in with a chance!

if you got another one the second day then i would go for it - it certainly can't hurt! xx
