Well ive been to a barbeque at my mums tonight and my brother and SIL arrived with their little 3 weeker!!!! A litle baby girl named Aleisha, OMG 7lbs of pure gorgeousness!!!!!!
She was 4 weeks prem when born so still is sooo tiny. I fed her and winded her and it felt soooooo weird!!!!
I Remember feeling like that with my other children but my smallest was 8 lb 4 so to hold a tiny 7lb baby was mad!

I was so 'embraced' it was magical!

Im still like that and i have a 2 yr old. I was in ikea yesterday and there was 2 new borns and all i could do was smile

babies are wonderful and i think they came make even the most hard faced smile. its magical.

Awwww she is gorgeous! Me and my auntie were fighting over her, lol my poor SIL just stood back and watched in amazement as i said

'oh god how do you wind them again?'

We don't have any babies in the family at moment but i was at BILs recently and spent time with OHs niece aged 2.5 and was pretending she was mine - took her round the block in her wellies when it was raining so she could splash in puddles and was pushing her on the swings in the park etc. She is so cute and i just pray that was a practise for when i have my own!
