Did they say anything about the dose of Duphaston the doc put you on? You've got me scared now as I'm still taking it... |

It's heartbreaking to have to have an ovary removed  I really hope it shrinks for you so that you don't have to go through that.
Have they suggested taking the combined pill to shut down the ovaries for a while to try and shrink the cyst? |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | hi ladies.. thanks for all the messages...
another update.. started bleeding very heavy on sat and was in the worst pain ever by sunday.. was losing alot of large clots and what can only be described as flesh.. (sorry tmi!!)
oh took me to a&e sun night as were worried could be something wrong with cyst.. have been put on some very strong pain killers... now feel stoned.. lol
also taking mefenamic acid to control bleeding.. spoke to gyne this morning as very concerned... she said cyst should be ok but is scheduling a scan for 6weeks time to check on it...
has taken me off the duphaston and is now trying me on norephisterone... this is to try and thin the lining of my womb.... so ttc is probably out of the question at the moment.. although i will still ov so can still get pg...
and i finally have a name for my condition... hyperplasia endome???
going to google it all now...
sorry about the essay...

and magicvw the duphaston is used for lots of different things apparently and i would not be worried.... i was given it to thin my womb lining hence the amount i was taking.. it takes a long time for it to work in my case.... |
