so on sat I had a little bit of brown spotting and then again on Sunday , it wasnt very much at all but is it normal to spot before ovulation ? and is it normal to have really sore boobs during or around the time of ovulation ?

I have no idea, never knew when I ovulated myself. Hope one of the others can help you out

not to sure about the whole ovulation thing as i only notice cm changes around the time im supposed to be ovulating

Not sure really. I always used to get spotting from O until AF (daily), but that stopped when I came off the pill. Didn't have any spotting then until a couple of weeks leading up to mc. After mc I've had spotting sporadically, but usually just leading up to AF.

However, I had some spotting on Sunday, which was before O for me too and I was a bit confused! Mine was pink though, not brown, and barely lasted any time at all. The only info I could find was that sometimes you can bleed a little bit when the follicle bursts to release the egg. Think it was too early for me though, so am just putting it down to 'one of those things'.

Im not sure about the spotting but the sore boobs is a defo i believe

i have heard it is possible to get a slight bit of spotting when you ovulate - this is due to the force of the egg 'popping out' and can cause a slight bleed in some ladies - never had any myself, but i do get Ov pain. xxx

oh, and yes, it is common in some ladies to have 'sore boobs' as an Ov sign/symptom xxx
