I'm Currently Feeling: | Did you come off BCP in November/December? Could be that your body is starting to regulate itself with shorter cycles?
As for ovulating early it can happen............women can ovulate at any time of the month, and sometimes even twice in a month. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Are you charting at all? A chart would help you figure out if perhaps some of your bleeds are ovulation or implantation, and / or if some of your long cycles are in fact early miscarriages. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | thanks for your replies girls!
I have never been on the pill and up until dec they had been really irregular although thinking about it i cant really say that because i never counted my cycles or took much interested so for me to say i came on every 3 months (indicating to me that i had 'missed' a period) was infact just my long cycles).
I dont chart just count my cycles and go by the tickers when to start using the OPK's for ovulating.
i am just intriqued to see how many days this cycle will be |

| could be implanatation...implantation happens about 1 wk (+ or -) after fertilization. if you could have ovd about a week ago and its been a week since then, it could be that. if not, being around others that are on an earlier cycle can also cause you to ov and then get af early...i have been 6 days early by that happening, but never two weeks!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I would def. recommend charting for you- you can list the first day of your last full bleed as CD1, though after charting for a while it will let you know if some of your bleeds are in fact ovulation or implantation. It will also tell you if you have in fact ovulated- I would hazard a guess that some (maybe even most) of your long cycles are anovulatory (no clear division with low follicular phase & high luteal phase temps; rather a long series of zig-zagging temps that are generally toward the low end of the spectrum). If your charting shows you after 2-3 months that you are not ovulating or getting proper periods(bleeds after an anovulatory cycle are not considered true periods but do count as CD1) then you can approach your doc about getting a medication to kickstart your cycle and/or one to kickstart ovulation (usually Clomid). Best of luck! |
