Make sure you set a reasonable waking time each morning and try to stick to it...I ahve on average a 0.2-0.4 difference between waking at 5am and waking at 6am with my temps!!!!

Make sure you place it in a comfortable part of your tongue and somewhere you can place it again each day (I can get different temps by putting it on one side or the other!!!!)

Don't become a temp addict like me and go around the house taking your temps every hour just to see if there is a pattern...there isn't really!!!

don't fall back asleep with it in make sure you set your alarm for the weekends too, so as above make sure it's a realistic time! Mine has to be 6.30am because I get up then on weekdays, so have to take bbt at that time on a weekend grrr!

oh and make sure you put a link in your signature so we can all go and chart obsess with you!

If you're short-sighted like me, make sure you can reach out for it without actually having to look for it!

Post your chart Yay! (More stalking! )

Make sure your mouth is properly closed around the thermometer and don't drink anything before you temp even if your mouth is like sawdust!

If your OH starts to complain about being woken early, just act like you didn't hear him. He'll soon give up.

If you fall asleep without reading your temp it will be stored in the memory. Next time you turn it on you will see the last reading - but only for a couple of seconds! So don't get distracted or you won't see it!

Have fun!!!
