Sorry ladies, I know I'm being a pain but OH is away so I'm amusing myself with random questions!!

So CD3 today, AF is here and flow is med/light but my nipples have weird raised 'spots' all around the outside. I noticed it about 5 days ago but they are still there
I have never noticed anything like this before (Or I just wasn't looking ) but its weird!!! It looks like my nipples have broken out in spots (but without the white pussy tops)

Anyone? Ideas? General laughter and pointing?

I get that a lot. I think it is related to temperature funnily enough! I have never really thought about it!!!

they are natural and everyone has them they are called montgomery's tubercules...i get them usually in the cold (when the nipples are erect).

yep, I know them as montgomery glands and I think we all have them but sometimes they're more noticeable than others!

I always have them too...especially more so as I breastfed DS for ages (well let's face it he still gets a little "booby suck" each day before bed!!! - he'll be 4 in 9 weeks....go on you militants I dare you to question it!!! )

Seriously though, nothing to worry about unless they start weeping pus!!

They're there to lubricate the areola, if I'm not mistaken (so you don't get dry, cracked nips).
