I had my first appointment in the fertility clinic this morning.They did an internal to test for any infeccion, doctor said everything felt fine down there. I have to do some blood test now, days 2,3 and day 18. Another for rubella what I dont understand why, if someone does please tell me. I have to wait for an appointment to come through to do some scan and something to see the tubes inside.Hubby have to do another sperm test.
I am happy because things are moving now, even though I will miss this month because today is my day 5 after AF so I have to wait until next one to do the test day 2 or 3. we'll be trying as usual anyway, you never know, maybe we dont need any test done!!

ah! I asked him about the spotting and he said it is nothing to worry about, is just the hormones going up and down but it does not affect the chances of getting pregnant, that depends on the ovulation and the amount of progesterone we have, it must be enough to sustain the pregnancy. I dont know what to think anymore about the spotting business. I'm going to carry on taking evening primrose oil just in case.

They check to see if you are immune to rubella before you ttc because i thuink it can cause major probs in babys health, glad everthing was ok hun xxx

thanks for asking about the spotting - thats brilliant news - its been really playing on my mind - started taking VitB6 as well as that is also supposssed to help.

Tansey I've been spotting up to 6 days prior AF since last setember and I was worried that is the reason it's taking so long this time for me to conceive because my cycle is very short,24 days, and sometimes there were just 7 days between ovulation and the spotting so I was worried there was no time for the egg to implant. He said spotting is quite normal and it has nothing to do with getting pregnant or not. He wants to make sure I produce enough progesterone after ovulation, that is the important thing because if we dont produce enough we cant sustain the pregnancy if we do conceive.
