Chemical PG - when to start new cycle?

I think I have just experienced a chemical PG but not sure where to split my charts of FF. Anyone been through this and have any advice on what the cycle is like afterwards?

Feeling very confused and down at the mo

O hon, big hugs.

Why do you think you've experienced a chemical PG? Did you get AF after getting a BFP? If this is the case, I believe you treat it as though you got a late period and count your day of red bleed as CD1.

If you were, say, a week or so late, then your cycle might be a bit messed up. But if you got a bleed a few days after you expected AF, I think your body returns to 'normal' pretty quick.

I might be wrong.

Hey Jolyn. Once again, I am so sorry about your news. You would start a new cycle after comes. She may take a while to come, given that you still have some residual hormones in your body.

Hey Jolyn,

you wouldn't count your mid-luteal phase bleed as a period (even if the bleed was heavy) as you were pregnant at the time. You need to wait till a full period to start a new cycle. once again.

Big to you Jolyn

I experienced a chemical pregnancy on 23rd April. I had the same as you, a couple of days of which then turned to after about a week. I only knew it was a chemical pg as I went to the hospital for bloods and they confirmed it. I was 5 weeks 3 days.

I used the first day on full bleeding as CD1 but was not charting then. I am currently waiting for af to show so I can begin charting myself.

After researching the web and talking to my doc he says I should begin charting on the first day of full flow after the m/c so you will deffo need to wait for your next af.

Its a deeply upsetting time, as I sooo wanted my and then to have it taken away a week later is criminal, I know!

Chin up hun xx
