I'm Currently Feeling: | I can see a very faint line on the tesco one, fingers crossed for you that it's your BFP! |

| Well i went to see the doc, and took a sample of FMU, he said he will send it to the lab, and i have to ring tomorrow 2pm for the result.
Anyone know what the lab will do? will it be just a normal pg test?
Thanks everyone. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | i'd assume a normal PG test, just a thought maybe try taking the Tesco one out of the case and see what it shows, sometimes they can be clearer then. |

| three weeks late is a lot and anything can be going on. first things first, pg hormones can take ages for some women to show up, so theres a promising sign. also opk can detect the pg hormone, but its definitely not a reliable method by any means. i think that a line on the opk and a possible faint one on the hpk just means one thing, get really excited about that check on pay day so that you can get a more reliable test! if you still are getting too faint to trust lines, id say get the blood test at the docs. but rule number one, if you dont have af, there is a raelly really good fighting change, not to mention its been THREE WEEKS!! id say this is it for you, but get those tests and goooooood luck hun! |

| I had a normal period on the 25th March, then i had this 2 day light bleed on 12th May.
Why is nothing ever simple lol.
So in effect i could maybe be either nearly 8 weeks pg ( which i think is unlikely as no strong ) or i am roughly 4 + 1, as i got a pos OPK on the 4th of may.
If you are still able to understand my drivel then god bless you! | | | | Status: Offline

| if it were simple, there would be no fun in trying
the two day bleeding could have been implantation bleeding for sure, but that usually happens about a week after conception...so when did you ov? im confused =) but even if you are 8 weeks, some peoople just dont produce enough of the pg hormone to detect until three months or so, i have even heard of it taking that long for the blood test!!! ridiculous right?? i hope you get your official bfp soon hun! |

| thats EXACTLY when it should occur if it were implantation....it sounds like that was when it was. so if that was may 12 (about a week ago, right??) then you are about a week past when the egg has nestled, if that is in fact what is happening, so it could STILL take some time for those hormones to build up if your body is one that doesnt produce all that much. so by my terrible math, you are about 2 weeks past ov (a lil more??) which is JUST about the time to test. so that means it still might not be even showing up! you have to remember, you are not 8 weeks pg until you officially are pg...as the docs test tell you from your last cd bc thats the only day they can be sure of. in reality....that egg popped 2 weeks after that (+ or -) and then settled a week after that. i still have no idea where 8 came from, but id say you still have a good chance to get your proper bfp soon!!! good luck hun! |
