My TWW Symptoms

Hello Everyone,

Today has been really lovely, thanks for all your kind words and being so fabulous over the last few months. I'm really hoping not to be in this bit properly for a couple of years or so though! x

I thought I'd follow APB Lover (hope I've your name right) and post my symptoms over the last couple of weeks. Don't think I'm going to do as good a detailed job but I'll give you the general gist from my FF chart etc.

1 dpo: nausea, I've been getting this anyway and it definately doesn't count this early so I disregarded it and told myself not to be silly.

2dpo: tender breasts, this happens every month after O.

3 dpo: I haven't recorded anything - probably just had a bit of 1 dpo and 2 dpo but not enough to record!

4 dpo: I was in a good mood with normal energy but had nausea, cramps and an increased appetite.

5 dpo: I was in an ok mood with low energy had tender breasts as well as nausea, cramps and an increased appetite.

6 dpo: Ok mood, low energy with a bit of backache and I was weepy. This is when I thought that PMS was kicking in, I started to feel like crying constantly. I wasn't depressed or not, just really sensitive and horrible.

7 dpo: Same as 6 dpo

8 dpo: Cramps again and was getting really tired. Had hardly any energy and my breasts were still tender. Last day of weepiness.

9 dpo: Haven't recorded any symptoms, think I was still tired and my breasts were tender.

10 dpo: OK mood, tender breasts, had nausea and an upset stomach.

11 dpo: As 10 dpo but stomach a bit better. Celebrating 11 day luteal phase as though would have arrived yesterday!

12 dpo: As 11 dpo but a bit dizzy (light headedness really).

13 dpo: Pretty much the same but I haven't recorded dizziness. Woke up in the night feeling really sick, though I might be sick and I haven't felt like that for ages. Thought it probably wasn't psychological as it had woken me up. Happy that hasn't arrived and scared to test!

14 dpo: Trying not to get too excited. Still feel sick and getting cramps.

15 dpo: Woke up a few times, had to go to the toilet at 7, PIAC (peed in a cup!) and did lots of test calling results into a half awake OH who took a bit of time to come round and realise what was going on!
I've been really happy all day and now I'm starting to worry about things going wrong. I'm still really happy just want to keep my bunch of cells really safe and inside me and for them to grow quickly so they're not as vulnerable!

The things that really stand out now looking back as things that have been different this cycle are -

Cramps, they've been really similar to AF cramps but not quite, I've felt them on both sides and a sort of pressure occasionally.

Breasts, they're normally tender towards the end of my cycle but they normally get a lot firmer too. This cycle they've gone a bit softer if anything. I've also had more errect nipples and lots of raised bits around them.

Saliva, I seem to have had an increase in saliva - haven't got a clue if that's a pg symptom or not but have noticed it. No metalic taste so far, maybe a bit but that might be me imagining it.

Weepiness, haven't had that for ages - presume it was from an increase in some hormone or another.

CM - lots, sort of watery and a bit sticky at times - thought it was AF at times.

Upset stomach - my stomach has been off for a few days, a bit windy and bloated.

Think that's about all I can tell you (I've written loads! don't know how I managed that). Hope it's made sense.

Lots and lots of to everyone - I'm still going to be popping in here because you're all so lovely, hope that's ok.

Thanks Elm, that gives all us TTC'ers some more symptoms to obsess over.

Im wondering though, you say that your nausea started pretty early on, did it seem to get a little better as you approached your bfp? Or did it stay the same? Same goes for the fatigue, again, has it gotten a little better or worse?
I had a couple of days last week (when it was hot) that I was gagging all day but now just have the odd gagg, usually in the morning. And around about the same time I couldnt keep my eyes pen all day and wanted to sleep as soon as id got up! Its still quite bad, but not as bad.
Im probably just wishful thinking but your symtoms sound very close to mine this cycle...
Sorry for asking all these questions
Again, congrats on your you lucky madam!

Thanks again Jacqui - it feels like my birthday!

Couldn't believe how much I'd written when I posted!!!

I always feel sick towards the end of my cycle so I didn't pay too much attention to it. It had been on and off since O - I've found that when I need food I feel sick, suppose it's my blood sugars getting low. It's been pretty much the same since O except for the night when I woke up feeling really sick.

With the fatigue it was really noticable around 8 dpo then I was ok for a bit but have been really tired over the past couple of days after lunch / late afternoon especially.

I hope your symptoms do mean a is on it's way and I don't mind answering lots of questions.

Thanks everyone

We've been trying since the start of this year (seems like ages but we've been really lucky I can see now having got a bfp) got through a huge amount of sticks of various varieties. I'm going to do your win the sticks thing at some point, feels a bit soon at the moment xxx

Just hoping everything goes well - I don't mind pain and sickness etc as long as it stays where it is and is healthy in there

everyone xxx
