I'm Currently Feeling: | are you taking any preggy blend vits anyway if so check that b6 and b12 aren't already in them as I read you got to be careful of "oding" on the B's |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hey hun - I'm taking them in hope of lengthening my luteal phase - I've been told to take them all the way through. Pre-natel vits only contain very small amounts of B6 so taking extra will do no harm. I'm starting off on 50mg a day and see what comes of this cycle x |

| I have just brought some from morrisons but it is only 10mg and says not to exceed dose - is it ok to take 5 of these a day to make up to 50mg? | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | This is my second cycle on 50mg a day the whole cycle through. I'll let you know next week if they have helped! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I have 100 mg a day which is the upper limit according to whatever I read to find out. The only side effect I saw was that it can mask a Vit B 12 deficiency (get brightly coloured urine occasionally too!). My luteal phase has either got longer this cycle or I'm due a x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I got it off Wiki, 100 mg is the upper limit for over 18 year olds during pregnancy and the toxicity bit says -
"An overdose of pyridoxine can cause a temporary deadening of certain nerves such as the proprioceptory nerves; causing a feeling of disembodiment common with the loss of proprioception. This condition is reversible when supplementation is stopped" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitamin...erence_Intakes
Can't see the bit about masking B12 deficiency though.
It seems to suggest that between 1.9 mg and 100 mg is ok though. You can always check with your dr / pharmasist next time you go x |
