Instead softcups for getting pregnant

has anyone heard of doing this ? I went to a pregnancy test web site yesterday , and was looking at the pre-seed stuff and read that ppl are using instead cups to concieve and on the first try using them they get pregnant . so my step daughter Jennifer just happened to have a few of these and I told her today I need one , lol I gave her a dollar for it , Im thinking of ordering some more because I cant seem to find them in the stores around here .

I've googled it - instead cups seem to be disposable mooncups.

A mooncup is a menstrual cup that works a bit like a tampon but it collects the blood rarther than absorbs it then you empty it out.

Presume using one when TTC would trap the sperm and not let them come out but they'd be in the cup wouldn't they?...
