I'm Currently Feeling:

with my last pregnancy , I had 2 clear blue test that were a very faint posive , So faint I didnt believe them so I went to the doc the next day and the test they did was neg , I still felt pregnant so I bought 2 answer test and came home and took them right away they were both positive right away so I called the doc and told him his test was wrong so I had to go back the next morning for a blood serum test and it came back positive I was pregnant , sadly I lost the baby on April 17th , I was 6 weeks . but yep the clinics test could be wrong and my guess is that you are pregnant or are having a chemical pregnancy . good luck testing

You're not supposed to read a test after 10 minutes. They distort and change, that's why manufacturers are so strict when saying 'discard after 10 mins'. But you're still in the running as it's so early - I just wouldn't read too much into that first test u took (nor the dr's test, for that matter, so it's all up for grabs!!!!).

WOW starryeye its good to know that someone else has been to the docs and got a negative when in actual fact they were pg... im sorry for your loss though sweetie

Trixie I hear what your saying, im trying to forget that ive had any tests right now LOL!

Kipps like you I find it hard to understand but thats where a EVAP line comes into play, once the test dries out the urine leaves a line making it look like a positive, which is why they tell us never to read it after 10 mins! Although I have been told that an EVAP line would be grey in colour, mine is most definitely pink!

Problem is cos mine went straight in my bag at about 2 mins after doing it (I did dry it promise lol) it could of changed within those 7 or 8 mins! Who knows????
