My last period was on March 13. It is now 15th May. My period is over a month late. Is it possible for me to ovulated anywhere in that time? Or even twice?
The thing is last week, i had no symptoms. But gradually i've noticed i've got this crushing tiredness, and very sore/painful nipples. I can safely say, i have never experianced sore nipples before. I'm hoping it's AF on her way, but is there a chance i ovulated a couple of weeks ago, which has now resulted in a pregnancy? (Dare i hope!)
I was thinking, maybe i ovulated much much later than i first thought, which is why my AF hasn't turned up yet!

Oh i have tested loads woman! The last being 10 days ago, which was a BFN. So i haven't bothered testing since.

I'm no medical expert and so this is all pure guesswork.... But.... I'd say that was definitely possible. Once you come off BCP you have one or two withdrawal bleeds (which you've had?) and now you are waiting to get your first true period right?? Well, surely you would get your first true period after you've ovulated? It's ovulation that causes you to have an AF, so i would imagine it's very possible you could have OV'd and would usually get your first period 14 days later (or whatever) but if the eggy had been fertilised then you wouldn't get AF...
Does that make sense??!!!

were you on bcp? and are your periods regular? the only thing I will say is that I came off the pill and then had two irregular periods one 29 and 36 days and then nothing I tested after 36 days and got a BFN I felt different but obviously confused as to BFN went to docs and he said probably just body adjusting to coming off pill....I then waited til 52 days from dlp as I assumed I was waiting for period to turn up still wasn't convinced though so did a pg test and it was BFP!!

I guess I ovulated later than I thought with periods being irregular so my advice would be to keep an eye on it hun and see what happens as you may have ovulated later so it could be too early to pick up hormones to tell if you are pg. I hope you can keep yourself sane whilst waiting and everything is crossed for you to get your let us know how you get on xx

Yes i was on microgynon 30 for nearly 12 years! I came off it in Nov, had a withdrawel bleed, then had an AF on March 13th. So i was wondering what could have happened since then. I nearly run out of hopefullness though, so i'm not getting too happy yet!

Spartacus how many weeks were you when you found out then? I wish i was one of those few ucky ladies that find out late .. although i dont think im that lucky!!

It's certainly possible. Go to the BFP announcements subforum, there's a lady that posted today who has a very similar story.
