A lot of people do this! You aren't alone. I didn't really but I was afraid I would jinx myself (superstitious I know )

I couldn't do that to myself, I'd be heartbroken every time I saw what I've bought. I allow myself a fleeting look at the baby clothes section in Asda but I'm not allowing myself to buy anything. I do look at things on the internet sometimes that are baby related though.

I've decided if and when I get my bfp I'm allowed to buy one little thing for my baby, but then I'm not going to buy anything til much later in the pregnancy when things are less likely to go wrong.

If you feel ok with doing it I'm not telling you to stop but it just wouldn't be right for me

oK i ADMIT IT - i have a couple of things that were on such a good offer i couldn't say no. Now i know most people don't because of superstition etc and i thought i was like this however, our nans used to start a 'bottom draw' for their future weddings and babies which is sensible if you can't afford things in one go. So, yes, I have started my 'bottom draw' for baby number 1 - whenever they may be!
