Got my blood results back ...

... for my progesterone day21 test. They're normal - 45!!! Which, from searching the net, is really good considering I only O'd on Thursday!!!! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy!! But I think 45 means I'm probably not PG this cycle as surely they'd be higher than that 3-4 dpo? Or mebbe not as implantation hasn't occurred?

Now it's just the hubby's test results. I am actually more concerned if his results come back bad cos boys are more ‘fragile’ about such things – plus it’s harder to ‘cure’ boy’s problems. We’ll see.

x

I'm afraid she's right, boys are harder to fix, far less meds out there to help. But let's hope it's not the case. When do you get his?

Posted on your journal. Really pleased that you can put the lack of progesterone obsession behind you, dude!

I just found this on google....

The following table is a guide to what the progesterone levels can be during pregnancy. Again, you can see the range of normal levels is very wide. Progesterone is measured in nanograms per milliliter (ng/ml).

Before pregnancy: 1 to 28 ng/ml

Conception to 12 weeks: 9 to 47 ng/ml

12 to 28 weeks: 17 to 146 ng/ml

28 weeks till birth: 55 to 200 ng/ml

Errrr Trix, did you say 45????!!!!!!! Look what category that puts you in!!!

Ummmmmmmmmmmm wow. I just checked this. Apparently docs would check and like to see a 10 level if you were preggers. Did you ask your specialist where this level places you?!?

Urm, gals, now please please please don't excite me. I have zero symptoms. Anyway, goggling this myself, there are quite a few girls who get high levels and don't end up PG (though saying that, were they 3dpo when they had the test?).

No, seriously, I'm sure the dr would've said if he suspected pregnancy. And anyways, even if the sp has met the egg, the implantation bit is the real tricky bit and that won't happen till tomorrow onwards so we'll see ....
