i feel better on the toilet too! Ive nearly gone to the hospital before because theyre so bad! Mine started today, this is what i do

Get acupuncture just before shes due (this is my 2nd month and its slightly better)
Put my electric blanket on
go to the toilet
take 2 nurofen with a glass of water (only thing in uk that works for me, gyne prescribed me stuff and its less effective so i dont bother with it
Tea- warm drinks help, peppermint tea is good
start taking my herbal teas, herbs and evening primrose oil and combined vit b's (especailly good) and 1000mg vit c helps with absorption
hot water bottle- in chines medicine the stomach should be kept warm
stay awake until the pain subsides a bit
have a bowel movement if possible
then sleep until the afternoon and then eat
this is a time healthy eating is vital so i try to get my fruit and veg but i also crave sugar and some coke so i dont deny myself it were miserable enough lol
Warm bath in the evening and earlier nights as i am totally drained
If i am nauseas with pain i eat ricecakes/crakers with herbal tea or water

(I cant work for a day or two with the cramps so i rest as much as poss and try not to stress myself out)!

Hope this helps!

Has anyone heard of Eating Kewi's for a week before she is due and to cut out the caffeen (sorry for crap spelling ladies) a week before she is due? I heard that could help keep your cramps mellow?
