Just wanted to say, I've just heard that certain types of cough medicine are supposed to be good when you are ttc. They have to contain Guaifanisen and should give you more fertile CM. They say to take it 3 times a day from CD8 till ovulation.

I was just nosing around a forum and saw this so thought I would share

yes i knew ...but i talk to my GYN about it and she said pre seed was better really no need to drug yourself up

yeah i have heard about this, and heard it is supposed to help - guafenisen thins your bodies mucus, (so not just CM but mucus in your chest etc as well)

but i have also heard that this can have a negative effect on Cervical Mucus, and should be avoided... ??

I'm sick as a dog with the flu at the moment and drinking cough syrup like soda!!
