Right, I have just been reading about luteal phases and i don't get it!!
according to opk's, I ovulated on the 30th of april, LMP was 17th april and according to my chart AF is due on friday ( not wednesday as i thought), so how long does that make my luteal phase???
I got a on clearblue digi about 10 mins ago ( I have had a few coffee's this morning) but when i went to the toilet I noticed spotting in my knickers, a sort of old blood colour...not a lot but there. I actually thought i had wee'd myself a little sorry if TMi, but this has never happened before, I have never had spotting before af, I just come on full red flow on the day af is due.
I'm confused

Hey hun, your luteal phase can be 12-16 days when normal. So don't panic just yet!
If you OV'd on the 30th you would be 13DPO now, so it could be implantation signs.

Fingers crossed and test on Friday of no AF!

I've just been on a website and calculated my luteal phase for the last 3 months and they have been, 17, 18 and 16, that's long isn't it??

It depends if your OV date is accurate. If they are consistent I don't think it's an issue...just something to bear in mind come testing time.

Update.....
No spotting since yesterday, really wierd, just happened that once.
Up until yesterday, I had really sore boobs, bad af cramps and backache and this morning they have all gone
On the plus side, my skin looks beautiful today, I'm usually covered in spots this close to af.
