very very strange situation you have here...im going to try to put some sense to it.
1 implantation happens about a week after ov, which makes sense with your most recent opks...but not with the fact that af happened 48 days ago! if it was implantation it would have happened 4 weeks ago...unless you didnt ov or get af for some reason and now have, and it is in fact one week pov.
2 i agree with the others, it doesnt matter how faint the line, a line is a line. how many times did you test? i would test again and definitely call the gp now that you are 3 weeks late and get a blood test...at least to put your mind at ease. those are slightly more effective than hpts, which if that line is faint, it will detect. i would say that might be your best option.
and i am curious what made you test with opks if you have not even gotten af?? did you guess that you missed your af and started counting as if you had? you should not get two ovs in the same cycle. again, might want to see you gp bc if you did not get af, something might be wrong if you are in fact not pg, and the possibilities are endless....put your mind at ease and see your gp
I did come off BCP in Feb though, then i had a withdrawal bleed for 10 days, had another AF 25th March, now this.
I did the OPKs, as i bought a job lot lol, bought lots of the cheapie tests too. So have been doing them randomly throughout.
The OPKs were defintately pos last weekend, thats why i don't get this bleed at 7/8 DPO.
I did speak to my GP, but he is pretty useless with this type of stuff, great with kids though, and he just said see what happens, or i could send a urine sample in
Been thinking about this again. It is possible to ovulate twice in a cycle, but it happens within 24 hours I think. (This is one way to get twins). A more common scenario is that your body geared up to OV - you got your first OPK pos, but then you didn't ov for some reason. (Stress, illness etc). Then your body, not having ov'd yet, geared itself up again, giving you the second OPK pos. That means that the current spotting could be implantation, or it could be a very early AF arriving.
Our bodies are a nightmare aren't they? Last month I got spotting at 10DPO then AF turned up 2 days bloody late at 13 DPO!
If you are happy to wait it out, then great. Keep POAS! If it's starting to do your head in I would ask for a blood test.
Hey guys, the bleed turned into what i thought was my AF, but figure this one out...
I started bleeding late Monday night, and it has now disappeared, i normally have a 5 day bleed, with my period going darker in colour and slowly tailing off, but it has just stopped dead tonight....nothing.
