Think after reading all ur responses we mite just keep it to ourselves for another while. Don't really want somebody asking me about it every farts end! Its bad enough thinking about it every 2 mins lol
Absolutely not! I wouldnt dream of telling my parents, as it could take months or even a year or more to conceive, and would rather tell them the good news when I have some!! Plus couldnt do with the "are you pregnant yet" type questions!
Same as Sinead for me...no one knew we were ttc until Feb when I had mc. Had just told my parents and my brother that I was preg the day I started bleeding. In some ways I kicked myself for having told them, but it was also fantastic to have my mum's support through mc.
A couple of my close friends also know, and OH's parents, but we have only told people we know won't pressure us. It'd drive me crazy to keep getting questioned (TTC is hard enough as it is!).
My nan doesn't know we're ttc, but still manages to keep asking me if I'll have a baby before she dies..................tugs on the ol' heart-strings!
We have told my parents, that we are starting to think anout it, but they willnot pressure us, have not spoken to OH's mom, as she is always saying how it would be nice to have a grandchild before she died, when will we make her a grandma, do i know how to, how it is best to have a child when you ae young, as you can grow up together and the like.
this is our 10th month of trying, not told any parents yet - and only family members that know are My older sis and her hubby.... oh and a few close friends know...
But we dont want anyone else to know, as we dont want the added pressure - its taking long enough as it is!
I also havn't told anyone. No friend, or family. I have Pcos and new that conception may take a while so I did not want the questions on how its going. I rather just tell them the news. So it's just me, DH and you guys that know. I really appreciate guys to talk to.
