a girl who got pg as a freshman came back today to show off the baby. i have no problems wit young mothers as i soon hope to b one. problem: THE BABY IS SO NEW ITS EYES ARE STILL SQUINTY, HAIR SLICKED DOWN, AND ITS WRINKLY!!!! omg i went off. i told her how stupid she was to bring a baby that young out in public aroung germy students, and then allow them to pass the baby around! if one of them wouldve dropped it, she'd have been mad. then her mother walked up and asked if there was a problem as i was drawing a crowd, and i told HER that her daughter being stupid is one thing, but endangering a babys life in ANY way, in a nasty, dirty hisgh scool is irrisponsible and i had every right to call someone on them. then i proceeded to tell her that i dont kno y i expected her to b smart enuff to tell her daughter the baby was too young to have ther, since she obviously wasnt mother enuff to tell her to keep her legs closed at 13y/o!
my friend then escorted me to class.
honestly, after havin a mc then ttc for so long, seeing someone take a little precious defenseless blessing so lightly makes me wanna scream and beat them to death, call soc.sevices or something. even writing it now upsets me.
on another note, y do me n OH always BD 2dpo(lol at all the abbreviations in one sentence)? we need to time this better.
thx for listening to my rant gils
i totally agree with you on this one. i hate to see young mothers doing stupid things when they first have a baby. you don't suppose to let everyone hold your baby at such a young age. did she even make anyone use hand sanitizer??? probably not. are you a high school student too?
I have read that a baby should not leave the home for 40 days. or not in public at least..
Not sure if babies first check up is within the 6 weeks???
For babies health and mothers healing.....
It should be a family bonding time.
Not show off your baby!!!
40 days ?? i dont think so , takeing baby out for fresh air is brillinat for them. Expecailly people with other kids that cant exactly stay in 24/7.
But i dont think it was right to bring the child into high school at such a young age anyway. Just thought id say that you are able to take babies out otherwise im sure mothers everywhere would go crazy staying in 40 days lol
Want me to be perfectly honest I'm surprised you didn't get a slap for that!! I'd have slapped you.
Bubs being out and about as Kay says is healthy maybe I personally wouldn't let people handle my baby but I serioulsy doubt there was any harm done I bet it was lovely to get a few little cuddles & some fresh air!
'Since she obviously wasnt mother enuff to tell her to keep her legs closed at 13y/o!' ...is bang out of order & extrememly disrespectful - what mother these days can realistically stop their teenage kids from having sex? You can do all the talking lark but you can't physically stop them.

Young mothers are not the only ones that do stupid things.

I have to say I am with you on this completely. A baby needs nourishment, love and fresh air and to be honest, all the reports suggest that the younger a child is exposed to "germs" the healthier their immune system is in the long term....an over protective society will only lead to more instances of allergies!
If the baby is clean, well fed and nurtured a bit of handling and fresh air is no cause for concern!

I wanted to say sumthing like thats also but im new so didnt wana rock the boat
I understand the feeling about seeing other babies and pregnant people as i feel the same but unfortunelty they have the right to be pregnant and have babies. I told every1 about my pregnancy and two weeks b4 a knew sum1 that had a mc. I never stopped to think about them(feel selfish) but i didnt think. I then had a mc. The other person is still trying and i hope its soon for them and i hope they just annouch it as they have every right to be pregnant and happy. I will admitt i will be sjealous but in a nice way(wanting to be pregnant).
Yeah 40 days is very very extreme and you wont catch me being hibernated up in my flat for 40 days!!I have such a big group of friends and also a big family I wouldnt begurdge them having a hold at all!!!
I think its fine to show off your baby.... you are very proud of something that you have made and want others to adore the baby too!!!
