After a MC it is the most upsetting seeing pregnant women and newborn babies but you have to hold your tongue! I once went to Tesco waiting in the queue whist the girl sat the till showed every stranger her scan picture I wanted to scream 'oh beeping put the picture down and scan my damn shopping' but I never. That would be very very very wrong.

Having been in the situation of a hard TTC journey 1 ectopic and reocurring chemicals (losses) I still knew how to treat those who were blessed to be pregnant or have babies just sometimes I didn't want to see .

It at the end of the day nomatter how angry boils down to not really being in a place to judge others even more so belittle/talk down or of them on how they became parents, what their family thinks, their parents parenting skills or cares & the day to day choices where and whom holds baby. Well at least out loud I dropped my Caitlin down the stairs I was devastated so its not just friends that may have an accident with the child due to handling/cuddling I can't see anyone would do that on purpose therefore theres no direct danger unless you never picked your baby up.

The young Mum comment was a bit off as we have young Mums here and what I was trying to say is not only do we have young Mums here but the author of post is also seen as young/too young to many!

Tish - very good post

Just to confirm Socophoenix has not viewed the thread since 4.30am (uk time now 7.12pm) therefore has not seen or ran off yet I'd like to say although you will get replies on such threads hun don't run when you do come on. x

I agree with Wobbles. That rant was completely uncalled for and it's really nobody elses business whether a mother chooses to take her baby out when it's very young. I've never heard that you shouldn't take a baby outdoors for 40 days either and don't know any woman who has ever done that!

WOW...
i totally agree with what everyone else has been saying...
you cant keep a baby locked up inside! Its not healthy for bubs, or mum!!
you are ttc, and when you do have your baby, wouldnt you want to show him or her off to all your friends??
i can deffinitely understand how hard it is seeing pregnant women, new mums, and babies after a miscarriage, i have someone throwing it in my face all the time..and although i get upset, i would never dream of telling someone else how to raise their own baby! You wouldnt like it would you??
i also think some people in this thread have been EXTREMELY harsh in generalising young mothers!!
i know some girls who have had babies young and they are fantastic mothers!! better than some 'older' mothers i know!
with the way you reacted, as some of the others have said, maybe you should hold off ttc for a while?
call me a hypocrite if you want, as i am only 19, but i never would have reacted like that!
i hope you've calmed down now.

Among all the things you said in the OP,it was really wrong to say that her mom didn't make sure that her daughter keeps her legs shut...you have no right to say that about someone.
And call someone STUPID for getting pregnant!

And that poor girl is so young and confused and I'm sure her mom is too, they don't need your anger outbursts make their situation harder. She doesn't need someone to yell what a bad mom she is when she's worried enough as it is...

I would've slapped anyone who barely knows me to call me a bad mother and yells at me.
And I have to say, young mother can be good mothers,no stereotypes please!

I seriously have to ask, whether you're mature enough to have a baby when your can barely keep your emotions in order...
And as everyone said, there's nothing wrong in taking the baby out for some fresh air and I'm sure she kept an eye on her friends when she let them hold the baby...

Bubs being out and about as Kay says is healthy maybe I personally wouldn't let people handle my baby but I serioulsy doubt there was any harm done I bet it was lovely to get a few little cuddles & some fresh air!

'Since she obviously wasnt mother enuff to tell her to keep her legs closed at 13y/o!' ...is bang out of order & extrememly disrespectful - what mother these days can realistically stop their teenage kids from having sex? You can do all the talking lark but you can't physically stop them.
I agree wholeheartedly with wobbles i am suprised both ladies didnt lamp you WTF has it got to do with you what the girl does with her baby young mums are often good ones i was one and i was damn good if i do say so myself you need to get a grip missus and mind your own business.
