To be honest, I don't think you had any right to say that to someone, actually I'm in shock that you thought it was ok to. Babies have been cooed over by friends and neighbours for centuries with no harm done. It hardly amounts to abuse. I know it can be upsetting being around babies after mc and ttc, I've been in the same boat for a long time and still find it hard, but I think you need to get your anger in check!

'Since she obviously wasnt mother enuff to tell her to keep her legs closed at 13y/o!' ...is bang out of order & extrememly disrespectful - what mother these days can realistically stop their teenage kids from having sex? You can do all the talking lark but you can't physically stop them.
I'm going to agree with that 100%

Looking at the Title of the thread, i had to take a look, it made my heart sink!!!!!

I've got to say that i think you are bang out of order!!!! I'm shocked you got away with that, had it have been me that was spoken to like that i would more than likely have wolloped you!

IMHO its up to the individual mother and how she feels about herself and baby.
Babies need fresh air, as do mothers....its good for us all, and also good for mothers to get a little excercise rather than being cooped up indoors all that time.
I agree kids should be kept clean, tidy, dry etc etc, but you will never protect a child from every germ going, since most are air bourne.
Also children need to be exposed to a certain amount of dirt, as living in a completely sanitary "bubble" will only encourage allergies!

Rant over.....sorry if i offend anyone, but i think the manner that the OP spoke to this girl and her mother in is disgraceful!

i wouldn't have confronted the girl, but i would have silently vented to myself. i personally think there are a lot of irresponsible parents out there and some of you is right about age doesn't matter. i don't think the girl should have been up at the school showing the baby off. it sends out a message that it is okay to get pregnant at such a young age, and you don't really want that happening, b/c the abortion rate is going up. if you are young and in school call and invite your friends over to the house. i was in middle school with a girl that had two kids already and by the time graduated she had five. what did she learn from it? nothing. those kids didn't share a father with one another. we also have to look at it a generational curse that some females go through. i stay in an area where a lot of girls have babies just so they can get a welfare check and some section 8 apt. they treat these babies like dolls and forget they are little ppl. me and soco are both in atlanta, ga we see things and me for one wouldn't want everyone breathing on my baby fresh out of the womb. health care sucks here and everyone isn't up to date with their check ups. yes you want to expose your baby to germs but not TB, b/c there are a lot of school outbreaks that don't get reported on the news.

I agree with what the rest of you said, i read this thread earlier and was in total shock. I don't think it has anything to do with you what that girl does with her baby. I can understand that it must of been upsetting for you as you have miscarried... I've never known of anyone else who's miscarried (Me included) to go around speaking to people in that manner. I don't see what the poor girl was doing to endanger the babys life. She was only allowing her friends to have a hold. If you had of spoken to me, or my mother in such a disrespectful way, i'm sorry but you would of also had a slap from me too. Also, as wobbles said how an earth can you phsycally stop a teenage girl from having sex. Maybe in future you should learn to keep your mouth shut and not interfere in other peoples buisness which totally has nothing to do with you. Sorry if i'm sounding harsh, but it's my opinion.

Jesus Christ I though i was about to read about something like...... i nearly killed a girl today as she stepped out in front of my car... for example.

I'm not going to say much as all the others before me have said it all, but what i will say is this... from your posting you sound very immature, I think you should think long and hard about continuing to ttc, maybe wait a few years, do a little living first.

The fact that you say you wanted to Kill her is scary, its a very strong word to use. makes me wonder if you are ready for the commitment of a baby.

I personally think you were out of order.

When a person has a child standing up in a shallow shopping trolley or something, then I'd make a comment to my husband - it's downright dangerous! But to go on like you did, because someone took their child to meet their friends, if you'd said that to me or spoken to my mum like that, I would've punched you in the mouth.

I understand the hurt of TTC and MC, but what you did was out of order on every level.

I think having a go at her was a little harsh ... be what she did a mistake or not, we all have to make them to learn from them.

We can all either agree with peoples actions or disagree....either way however you feel, in these circumstances you had no right whatsoever to speak in such a way to the babys mum & grandmother. Its shameful.
Yound mums can't be tarred, just because they're young either, parents can be irresponsible at any age.
Also no mother can stop her daughter/son from having sex at any age, it will happen no matter what a parent does. To suggest other wise is narrow minded.
