You have to take your temp at the same time everyday (i do within an hour) and you can't move or get up. It has to be your waking/resting temp, so just reach out and grab thermometer and take it before moving any more.

Hiya! Feel free to click on the link in my sig to see my chart temps too. Pre-O I averaged about 36.2, post ov up to 36.8. FF is a bit confusing at first but stick with it and it's not that hard!

thanks ladies i shall persevere! i'm gonna get the hang of it for the next 9 days until AF comes.. by then i should at least have a little clue what i'm doing!!!!

Rachelle, if you find the link to subscribe to the FF "online course" they send you an email every day which teaches you step by step how to take your temps, check your cervix and a whole lot more. There are 20 lessons and they are pretty easy to understand. Good luck!!!!

36.63 is round about my average. I start at about 36.3 - 36.4 pre ov and up to 36.9 post ov. It went into 37's when I got pg. (think thats different for everyone though)
