I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm so Fluffed Off!!!! Sorry for being such an old winge bag but i'm so fed up!
Been POAS on my CB Ovulation since CD11 - it's now CD18 and i've not ovulated! I don't know what is going on??
Does this mean that AF won't come on CD28 or will it all be delayed???
I started using CB last month and got my smiley face on CD14 - i have a regular cycle so that's why i'm so confused.
Surely this is all supposed to be easier?
I feel like a bit hairy looser! and that is never good (the hairy bit, the loser bit is okay)
Anyone got any ideas what will happen? do you think i'll ovulate late if i'm normally regular as clockwork and if i do, will AF be delayed?
I would drown myself in a vat of ice-cream but the weightgain is not looking good as it is!!!
Aarrrrrrggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I'm Currently Feeling: | I have just been reading this.....
12. I never get a positive OPK. Does this mean I'm not ovulating? No, not necessarily. It can depend on how often you test. Most OPK's say to test once a day, around the same time each day. However, it is possible for your LH to surge and dissipate in less time than that, so testing only once daily may result in missing the surge. Here is an example of my OPK's for one cycle:
On Day 14 of my cycle, I tested at 11:30 p.m. The test was negative (the result line is fairly dark, but not as dark as the test line.)
On Day 15, I tested at 10:00 a.m., only 10.5 hours after my previous test. By this time, the test was positive, and my LH surge had been detected.
Again that same day, I tested at 4:30 p.m, only 17 hours after the previous day's negative test. This test was positive; I was still surging.
And once again that day, I tested, this time at 8:00 p.m. The test was now negative, indicating my LH surge had ended-- and this was still only 20.5 hours after the previous day's test. Therefore, my entire surge lasted less than 24 hours. If I had not taken the additional tests, but followed the instruction to test "every day around the same time," I would have taken a test later that night and missed my surge altogether.
So, if you are unable to detect your LH surge, try testing twice a day! It is possible that you are not ovulating, of course, but this is not a conclusion you should draw based only on a lack of positive OPK's. If you still have concerns, talk to your doctor.
it was here.... http://www.peeonastick.com/opkfaq.html
its got a lot of info |

I'm Currently Feeling: | That's very very good advice.
It is however not something that can be accomplished with expensive CB Digi OPKs and it's why the real addicts -you know who you are - order their monthly 20-30 cheapie green Ebay OPKs and so it's something to think about next month Rosh. How was your BD pattern around the usual O day? | | | | Status: Offline

| I might be in the same boat honey, not getting any lines on OV sticks. Hoping for one tomorrow. They usually say your luteal stage (time betw Oing and AF) never changes so you might get AF late this month. Or you may have missed your surge. Checking for EWCM is more reliable. x |

Funny you should say that - my delivery of OPKs and thermometer came today! The only thing i've not tried is properly charting CM and testing the position of my cervix!!
Well BDing...... for the first 4 months i figured 28 day cycle, ovulation day 14 - and concentrated BDing around days 7-15 and then we kinda tailed off a bit as we were tired - might have thrown one in a week before AF but that was it. Last month again concetrated around ovulation esp when i got my smiley face, then nothing from CD15-CD23 and then a couple of days straight with AF coming CD28.
This month... well...... AF finished CD5 and had a couple of days then OPK use from CD11 so BD CD11 & 12, rest 13, BD14, rest 15, BD16, rest 17... so we are kinda going for every other day at the moment which is probably good as we are having better nookie!!!
What do you reckon? |

I haven't had very much this month at all but when we BD night before last i used Preseed. There was a long string of CM attached to the Preseed tube when i pulled it out - about 6" long but it wasn't clear or anything?!?! Sorry for TMI - at least it's after lunch!?!?!?
That's a bit odd right?? I'd not used Preseed for 2 days so couldn't have been that surely?
once again SORRY! |
