New First Response Preg Test

Hi Ladies,

Just FYI really

i was in Superdrug yesterday and noticed that First Response have bought out a new pregnancy test - that claims to be EVEN more sensitive - and can give u a positive result up to 6 days early!!

im a POAS addict, and so when i saw it i thought OMG i have to buy one for when AF is due.

only bad thing is, it would pick up any Chemical pregnancy which isnt nice.

anyway to all of you, hope we are gonna see plenty of May s

(and fingers crossed mine included!)

xxxxxxxxx

"5 days before AF would be missed" it says. It's basically 4 days before AF which is what CB have been claiming all along. I'd say it's just clever marketing not a more sensitive test.

I just saw it sat on the shelf next to the old tests (which say up to 4 days early) and this one said in bold letters "test even more sensitive, Now up to 6 days early"

Okay well disregard my last statement then. I still think it's at most a day more but most likely none. Think about it, the average implantation bracket is 8 to 12 days with the average O day on CD 12 to CD 16 and the average cycle length 26 to 30. So basically the only way it would almost work is in the unlikely event that someone Oed on CD 12 and implanted in 8 days! If nothing is implanted how the heck would it detect anything? Forgive me for rambling, just trying to save you POAS addicts

I often wonder how effective these early tests are, because surely implantation has to take place b4 getting a BFP and this seems way too early. But if anyone finds they work, let us know xx
