if you were pregnant the hormones could interfere with the opk and give you a false positive, which you havent had.

Just for you i used my CB test and it has a so not overly surprised but just odd that i've not ovulated yet.... must be all that stress i guess!!

Yep CB OPK so have been testing since CD11 and now on CD15 - only round circles so far and no smiley face - maybe it'll come tomorrow or the day after and i'll have a later cycle this month??? I guess its only odd to me since i've been off the pill for 2 years and in that time i only had a longer cycle when i was on my honeymoon and had been flying a lot - other than that, never been later than 28 days even with wedding stress.

Maybe i'm just gonna have a late surge!!!

This is prob a good thing, at least if i ovulate late i can finally see that maybe that's why we haven't conceived yet - i mean, you figure it's always circa CD14 if you are on a 28 day cycle and last month it was 14-16 so lord knows what this month will be!

Quick question for you..... obviously using preseed and those little spermies can live for up to 5 days in the good quality stuff. now, if we BD Thurs night and then Sat night do you reckon have a night off tonight and then give it a go tomorrow with the preseed again? just to help them swim for longer?

OPK is £22 for 7 sticks - i used the CB digital. Last month i started CD11 and got smiley CD14 so stopped after that and saved 3 sticks - this month i figured if the same happened i woulnd't have to buy one next month but now it looks like i might used all 10 sticks i have!

haven't charted - was wondering if that would be overkill you know? and i'm a not too sure about charting CM - i just keep an eye on it when i go to the loo (sorry TMI).

I got my Preseed for £9 including delivery - it's good and you don't feel like you are using it if you get my drift - we had used other stuff before TTC like that durex play etc and KY but i found it was a excessively wet (sorry again!) The Preseed is good as i haven't got any chaffing!!!!!

I chart, I started charting before anything else, i couldnt ttc without it, I know exactly what day I ovulate.

Me too - not dry or anything like that! just read that the spermies can survive for up to 5 days in the good quality stuff and since the preseed mimics semen/cervical fluid and can aid their butterfly stroke i figured i'd give it a go.

Just spoke to DH - he said why can't be do it old fashioned style!! you know, just by having sex... what the hell does he think we've been doing for the past 5.5 months!!!

So you reckon those cheap sticks are worth it? how much is a thermometer? maybe i'll give the charting a go? My friend leant me her book 'taking charge of your fertility' and it goes through everything - charting cm, bbt etc. - i could try that and use the cheapies???
