morning pee

Why do we use morning pee when testing?

Is it...

Cause there is more preg hormones produced over nite?

Or just the fact that the wee is stronger as u havent peed so therefore giving u more preg hormones.

Just wondering does it make a difference if u save pee up say at dinner for ages then test or does it need to be morning pee?

I think it just depends on the concentration - meaning little fluid intake and a long time between pees. That's why morning urine is best because you haven't drunk anything when you're sleeping and you more than likely haven't been to the loo all night.

FMU is more concentrated as you more than likely haven't been for a pee for 8 hours or so.
Think during the day.....you're bound to go less than 8 hours before needing a pee. So it won't be as concentrated during the day as you'll also be diluting it with drinks.....hope this makes sense?!?

i'm sure plenty of women get accurate results for less wee holding time, its just that i guess it does make it easier for the pee stick to work!!!
Way i try and look at it (however impatient i may be) is that tests cost a fair bit and i'm prob best off waiting for FMU, in a bid not to just pee my money away!!!

I got a bfp when testing in the evening, i was i day post af though. I do think also, that if your testing early you'd be better off testing with fmu as the hcg is gonna be quite low anyway, so you need as much concentration of it as possible to get a reading.

Good luck, xxx

Your urine is more concentrated and so the preg hormone can be detected better but if you are producing enough of the hormone, then it really doesn't matter when you test. So the earlier you are testing, use FMU. I used fmu and poas in the evening and got bfps...Lots of !!!!

I tested in the morning and got a faint positive... then in the afternoon and it was even fainter, but then 2 days later I tested in the evening and got a very clear positive... so it all depends on how much HCG is in your system. One thing I can say... I thought the tesco pinkys were much better than first response... and they are sooo much cheaper.
