Hi Guys,

Forgive me for my little rant but, here goes:

Today should be day 1 of a new cycle for me but, as of yet the has not paid me a visit. I did 3 HPT's this morning 2 were internet cheapies dip stick tests and the other was a clearblue non digi test. I thought I saw extremly faint 2nd lines on the dip stick tests but, no 2nd line on the clearblue. I didn't technically use my very 1st wee of the day as, I had to pee at 3:30am I then got up at 6:30am and used that wee to test. I have no idea if that makes a huge difference or not.

I came off the BCP in feb this yr after being on it for 18yrs. My first cycle was 41 days where I belive I OV'd at Easter when if I was still on the BCP I would of had AF. The visited me on 05/04 I woke up went to the loo and, there she was in all her glory!!! I feel like I am about to come on as I have had on/off cramps and sore boobs which I have had for the last week. The last couple of days I have been extremly tired where I fell asleep on the sofa Thursday when I got in from work and, all I wanted to do was sleep when I got in last night from work. And I am continually yawning through out the day. This is not usually like me at all. I do not know if this sudden onset of tiredness is a symptom of AF about to rear her ugly head or, something all together different.

I really don't know what to think or do. DH does not know that hasn't showed up or, that I was planning on testing today if she didn't. I told him I would test on Sunday if she didn't make an appearance at all on saturday.

Do you think I should test tomorrow with very first wee regardless of what time it is, if test again Tuesday and keep going like that for nxt 2wks then, go to the DR's if still no AF and still getting .

Any advice would be welcome.

I was the same last cycle, AF eventually turned up 2 weeks late! I was convinced I was pg. I think to keep testing every few days and then the lines will appear and get stronger. I went to the docs just before AF arrived but they were no help at all, just said to keep testing every 2 weeks.

Sometimes after BCP your body takes a while to get back to normal cycles - I had 3 normal AFs before the wierd one last cycle.

I hope so too. I think I OV'd 18, 19 or 20 April as I had cramps, sore boobs, bad mood swings and EWCM on the sat and sun then, come mon nothing. I just hope my body makes up its mind soon.

I have changed my ticker to 31days we will see what happens tomorrow.

As jolyn said it can take some women's bodies months to regulate themselves after BCP. Good luck

Hiya Schmoo! Don't get stressed!!!! If you already weed at 3.30 you probably didnt' have enough hcg in your pee to make an impact, and anyway, lots of ladies don't get a on the first day they're late even tho they are pg. Retest in a day or so and use your FMU (you could always wee in a pot and do the test when you get up a few hours later if you're too groggy in the middle of the night!) xxx GOOD LUCK!!!
