Bits make noise pleeeeease say you mentioned the lube

Ahhh people are dim sometimes. Even when my family knew I was having problems I'd still get the "so not pregnant yet" from my mother, and when my sis gave birth 1 month after I'd have a miscarriage she said "hurry up and have a baby so they can play". She wasn't being mean, she just wasn't thinking.

I know she's your sister and she'd just given birth but yikes that's tactless. You must have been crushed.

Trix, hope the part went well and either you weren't asked too many awkward questions or you managed to embarrass them enough that they don't ask again. hun xx

i tend to laugh it off, doesnt make me feel any better tho!!
or i just do my 'sod off and dont ask me again ' face ,that usually works!
BUT if youve had a drink and are anything like me, i tend to open my heart up and prob get teary eyed and blabber on about how i want a baby, and i dont no why its not happening!! then that tends to up up a gate for more 'why isnt hayley preg' conversation!!

the end

and now breath

Just shock them by saying "I don't know why, im on my back every night but it just doesn't seem to be working".. they won't ask again most likely.

By the way, I think you should write a book.. that first post reminded me of Bridget Jones

EDIT- Just realised my reply was a little late lol, your last comments were the best.. hope you said them.

Yeah, it was, but she had so many problems getting her 2nd baby herself that I could forgive her.

Ahhh families, don't you just love them!

Ha ha, you girls are great! Anyway, the party was FINE actually. Hardly ANY questions (it was weird actually cos ALWAYS get the question but not this time, maybe my mum's had a word, she's brill). There were a few amusing moments - I was put in charge of the kids outside for a few minutes so made them all play golf which basically consisted of one of the little girls smacking me continuously on the shins with a golf club. As I walked away (rubbing my leg), I mumbled 'maybe not getting pregnant yet is a blessing' to my OH and my cousin heard me, oops!

My stepmum (who's had a baby, my beautiful little 2-month old sister) got drunk (she's not breast-feeding) and kept going on at me in our car on the way back, saying 'it'll happen one day' and 'it's the most amazing thing'. That's another thing I hate hearing cos maybe it won't happen, you know? Anyway, I said 'Actually, it might NOT happen one day so I hate it when people say that! And maybe we wanna wait a while, you know? Go travelling. Write that novel / script I've always wanted to write. Maybe having children isn't the be all and end all'. She kinda looked a bit shocked and I felt a bit bad cos my little sis was mewing in-between us, looking gorgeous, and deep down my heart was aching to have one of my own. O well.

Anyway, when OH and I got back, we did have a chat about possibly travelling or doing something 'life-changing' if still no pregnancy in a few months.

O, and the pre-seed was AMAZING! OH LOVED it and, well, it just felt really good and hopefully it's helping those spermies travel as I type this.

Thanks for all your help gals. x

Glad the night wasn't too bad hon. I'm getting tempted to give pre-seed a shot now with all the rave reviews people have been giving it!
