Give it a few more weeks and you'll find that your energy levels actually start increasing, plus your muscles will start getting used to the workouts (although you should change it up once in a while so that your body doesn't become to used to any one workout).

Keep at it, it does get easier and also you'll very quickly enjoy the rush from exercising.

I love the feeling after a good run/cycle when I'm tired and sweaty but feel so energised and pleased I did it.

I'm now at the stage if I don't get my 4 days a week exercise I get well grumpy!

Thank you all so much for your comments and support. I really will try and stick at it.

I don't feel as achy today as I was expecting - I'm taking that as a good sign and not that it means I didn't do enough yesterday!

I'm taking it quite gently. My gym package includes 5 sessions with a trainer basically to learn how to use the equipment, but I told him I was TTC so he is going to develop my programme gradually and making sure I target the best muscle groups and stamina etc. He is also going to get a colleague to do one of the sessions as she is good with pilates and 'core stability', at least I think that's what he said.

Energy, health and fitness here I come!
